Your rollover scenario
Compare mechanics and fee drag
The tax section estimates what could happen to the withheld portion if it is not replaced and rolled over on time. Exceptions and account-specific rules can change the outcome.

Method and limitations
The 60-day illustration uses the IRS general 20% mandatory withholding rule for eligible employer-plan distributions paid to the participant. If the withheld portion is not replaced, the calculator applies the entered federal and state rates and shows a possible 10% additional tax when age is under 59½. Exceptions, Roth conversions, after-tax contributions, plan restrictions, waivers, and other facts are not modeled. Long-term projections assume the same gross return to isolate entered fee differences.
Results are illustrations based on the values entered. They are not predictions or individualized investment, tax, or legal advice. Confirm rules, fees, returns, eligibility, and account treatment with qualified professionals and the relevant plan administrator or custodian.
